Today Mr. Samuel came to visit us. He came because last year we collected money for a well. Mr, Samuel came from Konde Farm. Samuel quoted "Be the change that you wish to be in the world." That quote means to me that he wants us to make people feel good don't make them feel bad be a person you wish to be. One thing that can make you a positive impact in the world is making people feel good about themselves. Samuel talked and showed pictures of what school was like in Sierra Leone. I thought there school life was pretty surprising because its a lot of money for just a kindergarten to go. For a kindergarten to go to school its fifty dollars for a year, that's a lot. There are many of ways to help Sierra Leone one of my ideas are a clothes drive. We could put a box somewhere and people could bring old clothes and put them in there and we could ship them to a place where they could get sent to Sierra Leone. Mrs.Oliver asked what Africans perceive Americans Samuel's answer was that some Americans are very generous and some have more then they need. I think that Africans perceive Americans this why because most of them don't have as much as us and some of us have more than we need. We can help Africans that is one why we can change the world. One thing that is stuck with me is that Americans have 10 times as much as Africans. I was surprised about how many people suffered through out the war. My questions are "why do Africans go door to door on Christmas singing and dancing for money?"
